Rules and Regulations
WIN A BROADWAY DREAM PACKAGE!NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. HOW TO ENTER
a. The contest will begin on August 6, 2007 at 7:00pm and end on September 27, 2007 at 10:00pm.
b. To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s): (a) With a purchase of a Madame Tussauds NY ticket, submit your completed Playbill Scavenger Hunt Sheet at Madame Tussauds NY Photo Pick Up Center on the 5th Floor; (b) Without purchase, you can pick up a Playbill Scavenger Hunt Sheet at Madame Tussauds NY Admissions, complete your contact information and submit at Madame Tussauds NY Admissions. All entries must be received by September 27, 2007 at 10:00pm. Any entry received after this time will be considered ineligible.
c. Only one entry per person.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. The contest is open to all legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. Residents of the state of Florida are ineligible to participate or win. Employees of Madame Tussauds NY, Playbill, Inc., The Marketing Group, its licensee, its subsidiaries and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners and the members of their immediate families and or households are ineligible to participate or win.
b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Madame Tussauds NY contest.
c. Contestants are required to provide truthful information and Madame Tussauds NY will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. Madame Tussauds NY will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and Madame Tussauds NY will also destroy any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
3. PRIZES
a. One winner will be chosen during the Contest Period to win a Broadway Dream Package that includes two (2) tickets to each of the following four (4) shows: Rent, The Drowsy Chaperone, Mama Mia! and Curtains. Tickets will be for a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday performance in an orchestra location. Shows may not have performances on one of the above nights. Shows may offer, at their sole discretion, the additional option of Friday, Saturday or Sunday performances. Winner must see all shows within six (6) months of being informed of winning. Madame Tussauds NY, Playbill, Inc., The Marketing Group, its licensee, its subsidiaries and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners bear no liability if any participating show closes before winner attends said show. Total Value of Package: $845.00.
b. All prizes or prize certificates will be mailed to the winner by standard US Postal Service mail. Entry in the contest is considered prior consent of the winner to receive prize and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. Madame Tussauds NY is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize.
c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a. Decisions of Madame Tussauds NY management with respect to the contest are final.
b. A winner will be chosen on or around October 1, 2007. To be eligible for the drawing, entries must be received no later than September 27, 2007.
c. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
d. Winner does not need to be present for their name to win. Winner will be notified by telephone by Madame Tussauds NY on or around October 1, 2007.
5. CONDITIONS
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, Madame Tussauds NY in its sole discretion may require contest winners to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold Madame Tussauds NY, its corporate licensee, its subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d. Madame Tussauds NY, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process.
e. Madame Tussauds NY reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.
f. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification solely at the discretion of Madame Tussauds NY.
g. Madame Tussauds NY is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
h. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at admissions desk of Madame Tussauds NY.
